This page explains our policy regarding patients who can only communicate in a foreign language.
当院では、外国語のみでの意思疎通が必要な場合の対応方針を下記の通りご案内いたします。

Regarding cases where communication with the patient is only possible in a foreign language

We are a clinic that performs surgery.

A deep understanding of the contents of the surgical consent form is required.

Even if an interpreter is available, there is no guarantee that they will be able to translate correctly,
and even if we translate it, it is not guaranteed that the message will be conveyed correctly, so we cannot accept patients who cannot read the consent form in Japanese.

However, Ochanomizu Inoue Eye Clinic will accept patients.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to provide safe and secure medical care.

통역이 있었다고 해도 올바른 번역을 할 수 있는 것은 아니고,
우리 병원에서 번역해도 올바르게 전달되지는 않으므로 일본어
동의서를 읽을 수 없는 분은 거절하고 있습니다.

다만, 차의 미즈이노우에 안과에서 맡고 있습니다.
